In short this paper describes the steps to take or at least to think about those steps during the design process. It starts with your target group. What do you know in terms of ethnicity, age and sex. And about the context: it does matter if your target group consists of a fire brigade and you want to know the door height where they would run through without bumping their heads including helmets and boots and making a vertical movement in every step. If you design a supermarket cart it does matter if it is for a supermarket in Vietnam or in the Netherlands. The flow diagram with these steps is also below:
